During my co-op experience at Sousa Design Architects in Brookline, MA, I was privileged to immerse myself in a dynamic and enriching environment. I quickly found myself entrusted with rendering views for clients and prospective customers, a responsibility that catalyzed my growth as an emerging architect. Collaborating closely with colleagues, I delved into the intricacies of modeling restaurants in Vectorworks, a process that not only honed my technical skills but also fostered a deeper understanding of construction documents and project execution.

Under the guidance of my esteemed mentor, Stephen Sousa, I was afforded invaluable opportunities to expand my repertoire and push the boundaries of my capabilities. His support and encouragement empowered me to tackle challenges with confidence and precision, enabling me to navigate the complexities of architectural practice with proficiency. Furthermore, the supportive and collaborative atmosphere cultivated within the firm provided an environment for learning and professional development, instilling in me a sense of resilience and resourcefulness that will undoubtedly shape my future endeavors in the field of architecture. I am deeply grateful for the formative experiences and mentorship I received during my time at Sousa Design Architects, which have laid a solid foundation for my continued growth and advancement in the profession.

Beginning my journey at Sousa Design Architects, I was tasked with a pivotal assignment: rendering views for a client's residence in Boston's St. Regis tower. This early endeavor challenged me to adapt swiftly, adjusting the kitchen and back hallway to meet the client's specifications while striving for material accuracy. Engaging with this project sparked a deep-seated fascination with high-rise and skyscraper design, fueling my aspiration to craft elegant residences with sweeping city views. As I look ahead, I am eager to explore the possibilities of vertical architecture, driven by a commitment to creating spaces that elevate the urban experience.

One of the notable renders I crafted during my tenure at Sousa Design Architects pertained to a Tavern in the Square project slated for Tuscan Village in Salem, MA. Through meticulous attention to detail and a keen eye for composition, I endeavored to create a compelling section render that not only showcased the main bar area and seating arrangement but also accentuated the bespoke lighting fixtures characteristic of the firm's design ethos.
