GOALS

I have a few lofty goals, some more long-term than others however, I feel like they are not impossible dreams and could turn them into reality. For short-term goals, I want to succeed at university. I would like to continue my desire and drive to become one of the best architecture students at Northeastern University. I believe that I need more work and improvement in my model-making skills so I would like to start with that. Model-making is an essential skill across the world of architecture. After finishing my undergrad degree at Northeastern, it would be a dream to be able to attend the GSD (Harvard Graduate School of Design) to obtain my master’s degree. Many of the people I look up to in the world of architecture have all graduated from the GSD and I believe that my skills are able to handle the intensity of such a prestigious institution.

My goals for the far future would be able to design residential houses across the United States and in Greece. I would hopefully be a certified architect in both countries. The beauty in residential constructions is the fact that you can design transcending spaces for people to live in. Aa machine that people can use every day and enjoy their lives in. I would like to design a home for my family on an island in Greece that we would be able to share in the summer and would possess some of the most intriguing architectural features, that blend contemporary architecture with traditional Cycladic designs.

About ME

I am a twenty-year-old, third-year student at Northeastern University. I started taking real architecture classes in my first year of high school and fell in love with them. I use Revit Autodesk to construct my houses and then bring them over to Lumion, which is a rendering software, to bring the buildings to life. I can also use AutoCAD and Maya as substitutes for the other software however, most of my experience is with Revit and Lumion. I tend to make most of my houses in a certain style of modernism. I love doing this work and hopefully, I can continue doing this my whole life. It is my dream to one day create my own house and see it be constructed from my imagination. But first I want to study structural engineering to understand the physics of the buildings and the way the buildings are able to stand before I start to design them.

I am constantly inspired by several different architects such as Santiago Calatrava, Zaha Hadid, and Bjarke Ingles. However, the real inspirations for my work comes from my mentor Rodolfo Machado. Who guided me to be who I am today. While in his office I learned more than I ever would at any other office or school, and the ideologies he instilled in me, will be put forth into my own work. Another architect who recently has been a huge inspiration for my designs is Kobi Karp. His contemporary style is beautifully executed across most of his residential and commercial buildings.

I love to travel, I get a lot of my inspiration from the places I visit. I have traveled to Greece, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and many more countries. However, Greece is my home and brings me true inspiration every summer to design contemporary Mediterranean and Cycladic designs. I would love to travel all across the world to explore different cultures and use their architectural history and tactics in my buildings.
